Anthracite

High-Carbon Fuel for Energy and Steel Applications

Description

Anthracite is a high-grade coal distinguished by its very high carbon content and low levels of impurities, making it one of the cleanest and most energy-dense solid fuels available.

Its low sulfur and volatile matter content result in reduced emissions and stable combustion, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.

Anthracite is widely used in industrial heating and power generation, as well as in the steel industry, where it serves as a reducing agent in metallurgical processes.

Its consistent quality, high calorific value, and low pollution potential make anthracite a reliable material for energy-intensive and high-temperature operations.

Safety Information

Non-toxic, non-flammable, non-hazardous.

Quality Control & Sampling Procedure

The quality of the anthracite supplied is verified through a sampling and testing procedure conducted during loading operations.

Sampling is carried out in accordance with applicable ISO or ASTM standards, ensuring representative and statistically valid samples of the material delivered.

Samples are analyzed for fixed carbon content, ash content, volatile matter, sulfur levels, moisture, and calorific value.

A Certificate of Quality is issued based on the results of these analyses.
